Hi!
The concept of FadeApp was developed by a team of two best friends in May of 2025. As rising sophomores in college, we noticed that a huge problem was going overlooked.
Sports betting was skyrocketing in the US and around the world, which has had consequences everywhere. What started for most as a few harmless bets, would turn into something much worse. It would fuel persistent gambling addictions in people that were less educated in personal finance.
On top of everything, sports betting changed the way fans interacted with players. Instead of appreciating peak athletic performance, viewers were more concerned with their own interests- whatever bet they had on the game. Parlays, or bets with high payouts but extremely low odds, became extremely popular for fans, due to pseudo-intellectual analysis of games and overconfident bettors. The result? Sports betting companies beame filthy rich at the expense of players, fans, and the beauty of sports.
As a result, we decided that there is not enough being done about this problem in the world. We are currently building an app that allows people to track their progress towards financial freedom and have an anonymous community supporting them through their journey. As we develop our app, we want to make sure all of our strategies are rooted in science and reason. Therefore, we will be periodically writing blog posts that deep dive into major topics or concepts within sports betting and other forms of online gambling. Check out our first one here!
Our hope is that we can make the world a better place on step at a time! Our main goal is to simply get people to realize how economically impractical even a simple bet on a sports game is.
We'd love to get your advice! If you have any questions, comments, or ideas, feel free to email us at officialfadeapp@gmail.com. If you want to stay up to date with what we are working on or want to be the first to know when our app drops, enter your email below!
